Blue Card Traffic Control Course

This Traffic Control course is designed for anyone who needs to control traffic past worksites, road works or public events using a stop/slow sign or similar.

The course prepares participants for dealing with situations involving live traffic control by ensuring professional knowledge in WHS, safe direction of traffic and pedestrians, as well as how to understand Traffic Control Guidance Schemes, and Traffic Control Plans.

This traffic controllers course costs $330 per person. There are no hidden, or other separate costs for cards, or assessment.

Yellow Card Implement Traffic Control Plans Course

This Implement Traffic Control Plans course is designed for those that are required to set up and implement Traffic Control Guidance Plans (TCGP), or Traffic Control Guidance Schemes (TCGS), at a worksite.

The course gives participants the skills to not only safely and correctly implement TCGPs, but also the professional skills and knowledge to safely change and adapt existing TCGPs based on live traffic and weather conditions.

Implement Traffic Control Plans course costs $380 per person. There are no hidden, or other separate costs for cards, or assessment.

Bluecard - WHS for Transport Training

The Bluecard course is an entry-level Work Health & Safety (WHS) course, designed specifically for those in - or looking to enter - the transport & logistics industry.

The course covers how to identify workplace hazards, follow workplace procedures specific to the transport and logistics industry, and how to respond to potential emergencies or other incidents in a transport environment.

Bluecard WHS course costs $325 per person

Health And Safety Representative

The Health and Safety Representative (HSR) courses are aimed towards elected HSR's and deputy HSR's to provide them with the training required to fulfil their powers and functions, as well as meet the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 requirements, for the role of an HSR.

The course gives participants the skills and knowledge to identify safety issues or breaches in the workplace, and how to work with PCBU's (persons conducting a business or undertaking) to resolve these issues and ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

HSR Initial (5-day) Course Costs $780 per person

HSR Refresher (1-day) Course Costs $330 per person

Scissor Lift VOC

The Scissor Lift Verification of Competency (VOC) course is aimed at participants who currently hold a Scissor Lift EWPA Yellow Card Operators Licence for a Scissor Lift (SL).

The course allows participants to prove to employers they are still competent in the safe operation of a Scissor Lift and that they have knowledge of current industry regulations.

Our fee is $220 per person for non-statement of attainment outcomes, or $300 per person for statement of attainment outcomes.

Condition 'B' Removal Training

The Condition B Removal course is aimed at heavy vehicle drivers who are currently restricted to driving vehicles with a transmission type of either automatic or synchromesh, and who wish to remove this restriction from their licence so that they can drive constant-mesh (road ranger) vehicles as well.

The course gives participants the training in a constant-mesh (road ranger) heavy vehicle that is required to have the condition 'B' on their licence removed, allowing them to drive heavy vehicles of any transmission type (automatic, synchromesh or constant-mesh).

Condition B Removal Costs $1150 for the day when conducted in our vehicle.

Chain of Responsibility Training

The Chain of Responsibility (or CoR) courses are aimed at any party that works in the heavy vehicle transport supply chain. Whether you are a general employee or someone in a supervisory or middle-management role, you each have responsibilities to ensure the safety of all parties in the supply chain.

The first of our two courses gives participants the skills and knowledge of CoR features and requirements with regards to the Heavy Vehicle National Law and is geared towards general employess, while our CoR 2 course extends upon this knowledge delving into skills more suitable for those in supervisory roles.

CoR 1 Course Costs $375 per person

CoR 2 Course Costs $475 per person

Confined Space Training

The Confined Space course is aimed towards anyone who needs to enter and work in confined spaces as part of their day to day duties.

The course gives participants the skills and knowledge to plan and prepare for work in confined spaces, as well as how to safely undertake work in a confined space environment.

Confined Space Course Costs $295 per person.

Load Security Training

The Secure Cargo course is aimed at drivers in the transport industry who are required as part of their day to day duties to secure loads to the vehicles they drive.

The course gives participants the skills and knowledge required of a heavy vehicle operator when undertaking the task of loading and unloading goods/cargo and securing goods/cargo for transport.

Secure Cargo Course Costs $345 per person.

First Aid

The First Aid course is conducted in Newcastle, and is aimed at anyone who wishes to learn about first aid as well as how to correctly administer CPR.

The course gives participants the skills and knowledge to implement First Aid in various situations that may be encountered in both everyday life and the workplace.

The First Aid course costs $130 per person.

Complete A Work Diary

The complete a work diary in the road transport industry course is aimed at drivers in the transport industry who drive a fatigue-regulated vehicle and need to carry and complete a National Driver Work Diary.

The course gives participants the skills and knowledge to accurately complete their work diary, as well as comply with the legislative and regulatory requirements of a work diary.

Complete a Work Diary Costs $275 per person.

EWP VOC

The EWP Verification of Competency (VOC) course is aimed at participants who currently hold an above 11-meter boom type EWP licence (high risk work licence of class WP).

The course allows participants to prove to employers they are still competent in the safe operation of a boom type EWP and that they have knowledge of current industry regulations.

Our fee is $220 per person for non-statement of attainment outcomes, or $300 per person for statement of attainment outcomes.

SafeWork NSW White Card Training

The SafeWork NSW White Card Course (WHS General Construction Induction Certificate) is a mandatory requirement for anyone wanting to enter or work on construction sites in NSW.

The course covers selecting and fitting correct personal protective equipment (PPE) as well as how to identify construction hazards, implement risk control measures, and procedures for identifying and responding to potential emergencies and incidents in a construction environment.

Full course costs $120 per person.

Light Rigid Truck/Bus Training and Assessing

The LR training and assessment takes approximately 1 day to complete and is intended for persons who wish to drive a rigid truck, or bus that seats more than 12 adults including the driver, with two (2) axles and GVM up to 8 tonnes.

Light Rigid (LR) truck training costs $1150 - as a one day course when conducted in our vehicle.

Forklift VOC

The forklift Verification of Competency (VOC) course is aimed at participants who currently hold a forklift licence.

The course allows participants to prove to employers they are still competent in the safe operation of a forklift and that they have knowledge of current industry regulations.

Multi Combination Licence

Multi Combination (MC) training and assessment takes one (1) day if you're coming from a Heavy Combination Licence, and two (2) days from a Heavy Rigid Licence.

This course is for anyone who wants to drive B-doubles; Prime mover, low loader dolly and low loader trailer combinations; or road trains.

Upgrading from a HR Licence costs $3700, and upgrading from a HC Licence costs $1950

Work Safely at Heights

The Work Safely at Heights (RIIWHS204E) course takes approximately six (6) hours to complete and is intended for anyone needing to work at heights for example, riggers, construction workers, or operators of Elevated Work Platforms.

The course includes identifying possible risks and hazards, accessing and installing appropriate equipment, selecting reliable anchor systems, and cleaning up the work area.

Full Course Cost is $250 per person.

Bus Driver Authority

The Bus Driver Authority course takes approximately two (2) hours to complete and is intended for anyone wanting the qualifications to drive a public passenger vehicle.

This course is a legal requirement for all drivers of public passenger bus, motorcycle and 4-wheel drive tour vehicles to be authorised under the Passenger Transport Act 1990.

Full Course Cost is $385 per person.

Heavy Combination Truck Training and Assessing

HC training and assessment is conducted as a 1-day course in an automatic HC, or 2 days for students needing an unrestricted HC licence.

The course is for anyone who needs to drive an articulated truck with 3 or more axles. Training is conducted in a prime mover with a single semi-trailer. For the unrestricted option - this is arranged as an auto HC on day one followed by a condition B removal on day 2.

Heavy Combination (HC) truck training costs $1800 for the 1-day automatic option or $2650 for 2 days when students need an unrestricted licence.

Heavy Rigid Truck Training and Assessing

The HR training and assessment generally takes approximately 17 hours to complete and is intended for persons who wish to drive a rigid truck with three (3) or more axles.

Heavy Rigid (HR) truck training costs $2200 for 2 days when conducted in our vehicle.

Medium Rigid Truck Training and Assessing

The MR training and assessment generally takes approximately 10 hours to complete and is intended for persons who wish to drive a rigid truck with two (2) axles and GVM over 8 tonnes.

Medium Rigid (MR) truck training costs $1150 for the day when conducted in our vehicle.

Forklift Licensing

The Forklift Licence takes three (3) days to complete and is intended for persons who wish to obtain a Forklift Licence to operate a Forklift Truck.

Full Forklift Licence costs $450. There is a separate licence application fee of $86, which is payable at Australia Post after successful completion of the course.

Order Picker Forklift Licensing

The Order Picker Forklift Licence takes two (2) days to complete and is intended for persons who wish to obtain an Order Picker Forklift Licence (Class LO).

Order Picker Forklift Licence costs $3350 for a group of upto 5 participants. Additional participants (up to a maximum of 8) are charged at $450 per person. There is also a $86 licence application fee to be paid at Australia Post.

Elevated Work Platform Licensing

The Elevated Work Platform (EWP) course takes two (2) days to complete and is intended for individuals who wish to obtain a licence to operate a boom-type Elevated Work Platform, with a boom length of 11 meters or more.

Full EWP Licence costs $600 + $86 for the licence application fee with Australia Post.

Scissor Lift Yellow Card

The Scissor Lift Yellow Card course takes 1 day (6 hours) to complete and is intended for persons who wish to gain the skills to operate a scissor lift.

The course provides suitable proof of training to allow a person to operation a scissor lift

Full Scissor Lift Yellow Card Course costs $330 per person.

NSW - Sydney, & Newcastle Dangerous Goods Licensing

The Dangerous Goods Licence takes two (2) days to complete and is intended for persons who wish or are required by law to obtain a Dangerous Goods Drivers Licence.

NSW Dangerous Goods Licence costs $475 + the licensing fee with NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA).

QLD - Brisbane Dangerous Goods Licensing

The Dangerous Goods Licence takes two (2) days to complete and is intended for persons who wish or are required by law to obtain a Dangerous Goods Drivers Licence.

Safe Load Program

The Safe Load Program (SLP) course takes approximately four (4) hours to complete and is intended for anyone needing to enter a petroleum transport facility to load bulk petroleum. This course provides generic introductory training for drivers entering oil industry terminals and depots.

SLP courses are conducted in Newcastle, Brisbane, and Sydney. Typically we run a course twice a month at each location.

Full Course Cost is $295 +$150 for SLP

Dangerous Goods Awareness

The Dangerous Goods Awareness course takes 1 day to complete and is intended for anyone who may handle dangerous goods and/or hazardous substances.

Full Dangerous Goods Awareness Costs $375.

Driver Fatigue Management Course

The 'Apply fatigue management strategies' course takes approximately 4 hours to complete and is intended for persons who require the knowledge and skills to apply fatigue management strategies to reduce fatigue during working activities.

Administer Fatigue Management Course

The admin fatigue management training takes between 4-6 hours and is intended specifically for schedulers and allocators who manage and supervise the scheduling of staff and drivers.

Manual Handling Course

The Manual Handling Course takes approximately three (3) hours and is intended for individuals who manually handle heavy objects at work. It covers basic principles of safe manual handling techniques when shifting materials on a day to day basis.

EWP Hire

When not being used for training our above 11 meter truck mounted EWP is available for hire with a fully qualified and capable operator. The operator is not only there to safely control the EWP, but also to help however they can with the job at hand.

EWP Day Rate Hire: $1200 (inc GST).
