What's the first step?

The first step in upgrading your heavy vehicle licence in Queensland is completing the relevant knowledge test through Transport and Main Roads (TMR). Once this has been completed, training can be scheduled with our instructors.

About These Truck Licences

The heavy vehicle licensing system in Queensland differs slightly from NSW. Most heavy vehicle licence assessments are conducted directly through TMR testing centres, rather than entirely through a training organisation.

Our trainers provide the practical training required to prepare students for their licence test. Once students are ready, they are presented for testing through TMR.

The only licence we can fully assess ourselves is the Multi Combination (MC) licence, where we conduct the final competency assessment at the end of the training.

Competency Based Training

This is competency based training. The time allocated for training is based on our experience of what most students require to reach the necessary level of competency.

As everyone learns at different speeds, some participants may require additional training time before they are ready to undertake their licence assessment. If this occurs, additional training sessions may be required.
