About the Course
The Bluecard Skills Training Passport System (Bluecard) has been designed by those in and around the transport and logistics industry with the goal of creating a minimum level of safety and competency on a national scale - see below for an example card.
The course offered here at 123 Training is an entry-level WHS qualification for those looking to gain employment in the transport and logistics industry. It aligns with the National Competency Standard TLIF0025 - Follow work health and safety procedures, and focuses on risks and hazards faced by those in the transport and logistics industry.
The Bluecard itself can also be used as a skills passport, allowing those with other Nationally recognised competencies & qualifications (up to a Certificate IV level) to display those qualifications on their Bluecard.
Training Outline
Students will learn to:
- Identify health and safety legislative requirements of transport work
- Identify transport hazards and risk control measures
- Identify health and safety communication and reporting processes
- Identify incident and emergency response procedures
The course covers:
- Work Health and Safety legislation.
- Understanding and identifying hazards and risks in and around vehicles and transport sites
- How to control risks and prevent accidents in and around vehicles and transport sites
Class Size
Maximum class size is limited to 20 people.

Outcome/Qualifications
123 Training Solutions conduct Bluecard courses in partnership with and on behalf of Raise Training (RTO Number: 91655).
Successful participants will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment:
- TLIF0025 - Follow work health and safety procedures
Participants will also receive a physical wallet size card from BLUECARD.
