COVID-19
In relation to the coronavirus we have implemented measures to protect both our students and staff in these trying times. We are closely following the advice from the Australia Department of Health, and adopting the strictest personal hygiene measures in our cars, trucks, and places of work.
We have limited non-training staff, by having our administration staff work from home. Course sizes have also been limited to ensure that our training spaces have a minimum of 4 square meters per person.
All our students are being advised that they must reschedule if they::
- Have returned from overseas within the last 14 days
- Been in contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case in the last 14 days
- Been advised to self-isolate in the last 14 days
- Experiencing symptoms like: cough, fever, runny nose, shortness of breath, or any other respiratory illness.
- Been to any COVID-19 hotspots during the time and date indicated on the nsw.gov.au website

About The Course
This course provides the knowledge of dangerous goods road transport legislation and the Australian Dangerous Goods Code (ADG 7).
Upon successful completion of the course the driver is able to approach their State or Territory Regulatory Authority and apply for the issue of that State or Territory's Driver Authorisation/Licence.
The two day course covers all aspects of the Australia Dangerous Goods (ADG) Code and the relevant legislation including Classification, Marking, Documentation, Stowage and load restraint, Segregation and Compatibility plus Responsibilities of the individuals involved.
A dangerous goods driver licence is only required for transport of dangerous goods in the following cases:
- In a receptacle with a capacity of more than 500L.
- If there is more than 500kg in a single receptacle.
- In the case of intermediate bulk containers (IBCs), where the total capacity of all IBCs is more than 3000L or where any IBC is filled or emptied while on the vehicle.

Licence Application Requirements
To drive a licensed dangerous goods vehicle you must hold a dangerous goods driver licence.
Qualifications
123 Training Solutions conduct the Dangerous Goods Licence course in partnership with and on behalf of Raise Training (RTO Number: 91655).
Participants will receive a Statement of Attainment. TLILIC0001 Preparation and Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road.
Course Duration
Whether you require a licence for the first time or are renewing your existing licence, the duration of the course is a mandatory 2 or more days, consisting of a minimum 16 hours of supervised training and assessment.
For any students also participating in SLP training this is conducted outside the minimum 16 hours required for the dangerous goods licence course.
